Roanoke Area Artists site was created as a service to visual artists in our area, and as a part of a celebration for the arts culminating in the opening of our new Taubman Museum of Art, November, 2008.

We feel that a central site is convenient for people looking for local artists and art. Please visit the artists and contact them directly, or the gallery where they are represented if you are interested in purchasing or showing their work.

And please visit our wonderful art galleries around town. The first Thursday of every month is usually Art by Night, a free gallery walk downtown.
